Say buh-bye to boring and hello to fun! Unlike any other work study in the world, get ready to be the star of the show through the hands-on leadership of deck parties, bingo, and karaoke (oh my). Carnival Cruise Line offers an internship experience that you must truly sea to believe.

As a member of the Fun Squad, your duties will be focused around assisting the cruise director provide an exceptional experience to all guests onboard.

Helping team members facilitate the set-up, hosting, and tear-down of all activities is a major responsibility of the position. Maintaining great guest relations by demonstrating a sincere hospitable attitude is also a priority. The activities I assisted in bringing to life include the following:

  • Welcome Aboard Show 

  • Rock the Promenade Show

  • Fun Ashore & Fun Aboard Show

  • 80's & Motown Trivia Parties

  • Mega Deck Party

  • Groove for St. Jude

  • Seuss-A-Palooza Parade & Storytime

  • Build-A-Bear-At-Sea  

  • Military Appreciation

  • Morning Show Assistant

  • Bingo

  • Karaoke

  • Wedding Host & DJ

  • Host on Duty

  • Muster Station Checker

  • Debarkation & Embarkation

  • Tendering & Gangways
